Goodwill Expands in Alabama with New Demopolis Location

Alabama Goodwill Industries is expanding its footprint with the grand opening of a new store on Thursday, July 30, in Demopolis at 505-1 US 80, Unit 414, Demopolis, AL 36732.

To celebrate the store’s opening, Alabama Goodwill Industries has planned a full lineup of grand opening activities. The organization serves 38 counties across Alabama and is “locally led and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors drawn entirely from our region — ensuring that decisions are deeply invested in supporting and growing the communities we call home,” said the press release.

Grand Opening Events – July 30

9 a.m. – Doors Open + Giveaways

10 a.m. – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with Alabama Goodwill Industries President & CEO Dewayne Cuffie and the Demopolis

Chamber of Commerce.

11 a.m. – Cookout (Show your receipt for a free lunch. While supplies last and weather permitting)

According to the press release, “The new Demopolis location expands Alabama Goodwill's presence in the central Alabama area and brings both a full retail store and a donation center to Demopolis and neighboring communities.”

Each donation and purchase made at Goodwill directly supports programs that provide job training, career development, and employment opportunities, helping individuals thrive in the workforce.

The Demopolis Goodwill donation and store hours will be Monday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Sunday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
