Alabama High School Students Invited to Apply for Youth Arts Collective
Starting on Thursday, April 9, Amp Up Arts will start accepting applications for the Youth Arts Collective (YAC). The program is a statewide student leadership program created to engage and empower high school students across Alabama.
The Youth Arts Collective will unite students passionate about the arts and committed to strengthening arts education in their schools and communities.

Participants will collaborate with peers from across the state, build leadership skills, and engage with mentors from Alabama’s vibrant arts community.
“The program is open to students entering grades 9 through 12. Participants can expect to commit approximately four to six hours per month,” said the press release.
Educators and community leaders are invited to help spread the word about this opportunity to students interested in the arts, no matter their level of experience or prior coursework.
