Following a light January in new hip-hop releases, more rappers are putting their bids in to make a mark on the year.

Drake and PartyNextDoor Share $ome $exy $ongs 4 U Album

Drake and PartyNextDoor fittingly release their joint album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U on Feb. 14. The highly anticipated collab project features 21 tracks. The collection of slow bops include the song "Gimme a Hug," where Drizzy addresses rapper beef and people wanting to see his obituary. The project comes as Drake is seemingly gearing up to drop a new solo album.

2 Chainz, Larry June and The Alchemist Release Life Is Beautiful Project

The unlikely trio of 2 Chainz, Larry June and The Alchemist team up to release the new project Life Is Beautiful.  The new release clocks in at 11 songs. It includes the previously released tracks "Bad Decisions" and "I Been." The playa vibes or ever-present on this one, over smooth production from ALC.

Jim Jones Delivers At the Church Steps Album

Jim Jones has been at the head of some controversy recently after exchanging words with Cam'ron. Capo takes advantage of the spotlight by releasing the new album At the Church Steps on Feb. 28. The project was previewed with the single "JOMO" and "This Sh*t Still in Harlem" with SUZI. The latter was followed up with a remix featuring Juelz Santana, Vado and Dave East.
