Police are investigating the second shooting on one street in Tuscaloosa in less than a week.

Stephanie Taylor, a spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, said officers responded just after 5 p.m. Tuesday after a caller reported someone was firing shots from a vehicle on Greensboro Avenue.

They discovered a male victim in the 3800 block of Greensboro Avenue with injuries that police do not believe will be life-threatening.

As with almost all shootings, TPD will turn the case over to the multi-agency Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit and any information about a suspect or arrest in this incident will come from the VCU.

This comes less than a week after another shooting on the same road - as the Tuscaloosa Thread previously reported, the victim in that case said he was shot as he drove Greensboro before dawn last Thursday morning.
