He did not know the extent or timing of the blaze and referred those questions to volunteer fire departments in Greene County who did not answer calls Friday afternoon.

The sheriff's office did say they are investigating the fire for signs of arson as the fire may have been intentionally set.

A photo posted to Facebook and used with permission showed fire crews still on the scene Friday morning.

Greenetrack closed a few years ago after the state said they owed $76 million in unpaid taxes over profits from their bingo operations.

They later reopened as Greene County Entertainment on the same site.
