King said Rockett was driving a 2017 Chrysler 300 that was struck by a 2011 Toyota Tundra pickup being driven by a 65-year-old man from Reform.

Corporal King said Rockett was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a passenger in the Toyota were both hurt and transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus for treatment.

A 71-year-old woman in the Chrysler was also badly injured and airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo for treatment.

Trooper King said the crash took place about five miles west of Reform in Pickens County, near Mile Marker 13 on Highway 82. The wreck occurred around 8:45 p.m. Thursday.

King said no other details were available Friday afternoon and State Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
