Jay is a loving husband and father. He and his wife Angela of 16 years have 5 children. Before partnering and starting his own minority-owned business, Jay had a very successful career in corporate America. He held various roles where he was sometimes the “first” African American, but Jay always performed to help ensure he would not be the “last”.

For me, Black History means Resilience, Perseverance, Inspiration and Hope. These words epitomize the struggles and strive of our yesterday and the determination and tenacity for our tomorrow. I’m encouraged and excited because I know our future generations will continue to build on the black excellence that so many have paved the way. - Jay Jarrett
