Finesse2Tymes Ordered to Pay Alabama Promoter

Rapper Finesse2Tymes is reportedly on the hook for nearly $200,000 after an Alabama promoter won a lawsuit connected to a 2023 concert dispute.

The story began making rounds on social media after Culture Millennials shared court documents showing a default judgment had been entered against the Memphis rapper, whose real name is Ricky Hampton.

According to the court filing, Alabama promoter Provitt Eldrick sued Hampton and others after a 2023 performance agreement reportedly went sideways. The lawsuit claims fans later captured video of Finesse2Tymes' brother performing at a show in place of the rapper, sparking controversy among concertgoers.

The court order shown in the filing states that Hampton was ordered to pay $193,500. The judgment also awarded an additional $25,000 against other defendants named in the lawsuit.
