Learn About Hurricanes At Home
Home school solution. The National Hurricane Center is offering is some great webinars for 4th, 5th, and 6th grades about Hurricanes. Hurricane season starts on June 1, 2020, and now would be a great time to take advantage of these resources as our kids exploring home school options. The National Hurricane Center stated, “Please join us to learn about hurricanes, the hazards that come with them, and how we tell people about these storms!” This is awesome for the children in our area because the “webinars will focus on the job of a meteorologist, the weather hazards that come with hurricanes, and how meteorologists get you the weather information you need before a storm.” If you are interested in taking the webinar, be sure you sign up soon because each webinar will have a limit of 500 participants.
Be sure to follow the National Hurricane Center on Facebook.
