Learn About Travel Nursing at Tuscaloosa’s Bright Futures Meeting

Have you ever wondered about nursing or even travel nursing? The September virtual meeting of the Bright Futures Health Interest Group will feature Octavia Rayford, RN and she will talk with the students about a career in nursing, specifically travel nursing.

The Zoom meeting is open to all students who are interested in a healthcare career. It will take place on Saturday, September 17 at 11:00 am. The Bright Futures Health Interest Group is hosted by Elizabeth Baptist Church, located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Church members who are involved with healthcare started the Bright Future Health Interest Group in 2019.

These highlighted professionals explain their “background, information about their career and what they do in their job, and what it takes for students to get to where they are,” said Dr. Brittney Anderson.
