Tuscaloosa Native Hosts Coat and Food Drive to Help Families
As temperatures drop and the holidays approach in West Alabama, there is an organization looking to help those in need with clothing and food items this month.
Shon Robinson is a Tuscaloosa native and currently a motivational speaker. Robinson's company S. R. Motivation/ Event Hosting is doing a Coat and canned goods drive for those in need in Tuscaloosa.
We have House of Fades Barbershop, Transformation Barbershop, Spades restaurant and Bridge Builders where you can drop off lightly used items, jackets, coats and canned goods," Robinson said during an interview on 105.1 The Block.

Robinson also has a program called the REACH Program where he targets underprivileged children and families. With the REACH program Robinson teaches classes at Jackson Olin in Birmingham where he teaches kids about behavior tactics and analysis, development, and more.
"I was in three alternative schools before high school, in and out of the detention center. It's not me just talking to these kids, I was one of them."
Robinson is taking donations for the REACH program to help further aid those children and families in Birmingham through this donation link. Donations for the Tuscaloosa food and clothing drive will be taken at the locations mentioned above until Nov 14th.
