The awards continue to pile up for the Crimson Tide, this time for redshirt junior quarterback, Mac Jones. Jones has been named the winner of the 2020 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award as the nation's top quarterback. He becomes the third Crimson Tide quarterback to win the award joining AJ McCarron in 2013 and Jay Barker in 1994.

The award is given to an upperclassmen quarterback and is given on the merits of character, citizenship, integrity and those who honor the game as well as performance on the field.

Jones finished second in Division I with 4,036 passing yards while leading the nation in completion percentage with 77%. He's thrown 36 touchdowns this season to six different receivers this season.

Jones was named First Team All-American by the Associated Press, ESPN.com, Pro Football Focus, The Sporting News and USA Today, he is also one of the four Heisman Trophy finalists.

Jones led the Crimson Tide offense to an undefeated regular season and currently has the Tide in the national championship game. The Tide has averaged 48.2 points and 535 yards per game in this historic season.
