I think this is awesome that Grace Presbyterian Church is willing to deliver meals to those in need in our community. I can recall being in college and wondering how I could get involved in the community and participate in an event like this. It's so important to give back to the community you're part of. It goes beyond the surface level of helping those in need, but you learn to appreciate the quality of life you lead much more. When you see people in need and their spirits are just so high and their so full of life, it reminds you that things aren't as bad as they seem in your life.
For those worried about COVID-19, there's no need. The church has stated that safe practices will be put in place to ensure everyone in participation is safe during the event. The delivery for meals will began bring and early at 8 am Sunday, July 19th.
