Megan Thee Stallion Trademarks “Hot Girl Summer”

Megan Thee Stallion says she has officially locked in the trademark to Hot girl Summer.

According to Complex, in a recent interview Megan spoke out about her recent accomplishment saying "It's trademarked. We did it." Back in July of this year, Megan announced that she was in the process of getting Hot Girl Summer trademark on Twitter.

Now, Megan Thee Stallion has announced it is official! The United States Patent and Trademark Office online database does show a live trademark for Hot Girl Summer registered to Megan's label 300 Ent. When asked about the phrase she shared she didn't expect it to blow up the way it did. She started it as a self empowerment movement for herself and it quickly spread even outside of hip-hop.

With a major 2019 so far, this just adds to her list of accolades. Congrats to Megan Thee Stallion on this huge accomplishment!
