Bama Film Series Brings Classics Back To Screen
Movie nights in Tuscaloosa are about to level up.
The Bama Art House Film Series is back for the 2026 to 2027 season, bringing a mix of classic films, fan favorites, and themed screenings to the Bama Theatre.
This year’s lineup has something for everybody.
The summer kicks off with the Bama Blockbuster Series, along with Marvel Fridays and Morning Movies. Fans can catch classics like Jumanji, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and Bring It On, while superhero lovers get a full run of Marvel films including Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Captain America: Civil War.
Families are covered too, with kid friendly options like Shrek, Chicken Little, The Lorax, and Trolls. Child tickets for these screenings are just $5.
Throughout the summer, the lineup also includes major titles like Saving Private Ryan, Jaws, Coming to America, and Black Panther, giving moviegoers a mix of action, comedy, and nostalgia.
As the year rolls on, the series shifts into themed experiences. October brings Fright Films with titles like Get Out and The Conjuring, while the holiday season features classics like Elf, Die Hard, and The Polar Express, including a special opportunity for kids to meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
The series wraps up in February with the “Be My Bamatine” Valentine’s lineup, featuring romantic favorites like Pretty Woman and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
Tickets start at $10 for adults, with discounts available, and summer punch cards offer access to multiple screenings.
