Tuscaloosa Opening New Pickleball Courts
The City of Tuscaloosa is continuing to invest in community spaces, and this latest project is bringing something new for residents to enjoy.
A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for Monday, March 23 at 11 a.m. to officially open the new pickleball courts at Bowers Park, located at 2101 Bowers Park Drive. The public is invited to attend, with refreshments and light snacks available during the event.

This addition is part of the city’s Elevate Tuscaloosa initiative, aimed at improving recreational spaces across the area.
The completed project includes 19 brand new pickleball courts, along with an outdoor restroom and upgraded lighting and security features to enhance the overall experience for visitors.
Pickleball continues to grow in popularity across the country, and this new space gives Tuscaloosa residents even more opportunities to stay active, connect, and enjoy the outdoors.
