Olive The Cat Needs A New Home
Every week we bring you a new pet that could use a forever home from our friends at The Humane Society Of West Alabama. This week's HSWA Pet of the Week is Olive!
Press Release
Olive is a 3-year old declawed cat who is looking for a lap to call her own. Found abandoned outside and without claws to defend herself, Olive has survived a traumatic experience and now just wants someone who will treat her like a princess. This would involve giving her a sunny spot to curl up in and the occasional drink of water from the tap. She would prefer to be an only pet so she doesn't have to compete for snuggles. Because she is declawed, Olive nips when she gets anxious; this behavior would likely disappear once she feels safe and secure again in a quiet home of her own. Olive loves nothing more than to cuddle up with our volunteers (who she knows and trusts), so we would love for someone to give her a chance to trust them too!
Olive is up-to-date on her vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $75. All HSWA cats are available to be seen by appointment only. Please email humaneswa@yahoo.com or call 205-554-0011 (leave a message) to schedule an appointment.
