The Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority is bringing back its Easter Jam EGGstravaganza for the third year, with this year’s event set for Saturday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sokol Park North.

The free event is designed to bring families together with a wide range of activities for all ages. One of the highlights includes a sensory-friendly hour from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., giving families a more relaxed environment to enjoy the festivities.

Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy a petting zoo, face painting, inflatables, balloons, and interactive games led by volunteers from ParaKids, Church at the Oaks, and The Church at Tuscaloosa. There will also be live music from the TCAT Collective Band, along with food trucks, vendor booths, and community resources available on-site.

And of course, it wouldn’t be Easter without a special appearance from the Easter Bunny, with free photo opportunities for families.

According to the press release, the Easter Jam EGGstravaganza is part of PARA’s continued effort to create opportunities for community connection, wellness, and family-friendly recreation across Tuscaloosa County.

Families are encouraged to arrive early to make the most of everything the event has to offer.
