Bryant Bank Names New Tuscaloosa Leadership
Bryant Bank is making moves in Tuscaloosa, announcing a round of promotions that highlight both leadership and long standing ties to the community.
At the top of that list, Patrick Hamner has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Commercial Loans and Credit Administration, while Max Karrh steps into the role of Tuscaloosa County President.
Hamner has been part of Bryant Bank since day one, helping launch the bank in 2005 after starting his career as a teller and working his way up through commercial lending. Now, he will take on a larger role overseeing lending and credit operations across the bank’s footprint.

“For over thirty years, Tuscaloosa has been my home and my customers have been my neighbors,” Hamner said. “That will never change.”
Beyond banking, Hamner has stayed deeply involved in the community, serving on boards, volunteering in schools, and supporting organizations across West Alabama.
Karrh’s promotion is just as rooted in Tuscaloosa. A University of Alabama graduate and one of the bank’s original team members, he now takes the lead in guiding Bryant Bank’s local presence.
“Tuscaloosa is where I was made, professionally and personally,” Karrh said. “I am grateful to step into this role in the community I love.”
Known for his relationship driven approach, Karrh has spent years building connections with customers and serving on several local boards, including the YMCA of Tuscaloosa and The Children’s Center.
Along with these leadership changes, Bryant Bank also recognized several team members across the Tuscaloosa market for their continued growth and service.
For the bank, these promotions are more than titles. They reflect a continued investment in people who have helped shape both the company and the community.
