Alabama Goodwill Industries is bringing fashion, creativity and workforce development together once again with the return of its annual RECLAIMED fundraising event.

RECLAIMED 2026: Renaissance Runway is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 26, beginning at 5 p.m. at Events at Haven in Birmingham. Organizers say proceeds from the event will directly support Alabama Goodwill's job training, skills development and employment services across the state.

The signature fashion show features one-of-a-kind collections created entirely from donated, secondhand and upcycled clothing sourced through Goodwill. This year's "Renaissance Runway" theme celebrates transformation, highlighting how donated clothing can be given new life while also recognizing the life-changing opportunities Goodwill provides through its workforce programs.

Eight local designers will showcase original collections on the runway, modeled by both professional models and Alabama Goodwill team members.

The evening will be hosted by comedian and Run Da Bawl founder Jermaine "Funnymaine" Johnson and WBRC First Alert meteorologist Harmony Mendoza, who also serves on the Alabama Goodwill Industries Board of Directors. Guests can also enjoy a cocktail reception alongside the runway show.
