Consumers are being urged to stop using certain Ricky Joy Sour Crush Rolling Liquid Candy bottles and take them away from children following a nationwide product recall.

The recall involves Ricky Joy-branded Sour Crush Rolling Liquid Candy sold in 1.85-fluid-ounce plastic bottles. The sour liquid candy is dispensed through a rollerball located at the top of the bottle.

Affected products were sold individually as well as in packages containing three or 12 bottles. The recalled candy came in four colors and flavors: blue raspberry in blue bottles, strawberry in red bottles, green apple in green bottles and watermelon in pink bottles.

Consumers can identify the affected products by looking for the Ricky Joy logo along with the words “EXTREME SOUR” and “SOUR CRUSH” printed on the front. The flavor name and an image of a green monster also appear on the packaging.

The candy was sold nationwide at H-E-B, Forman Mills and other candy stores. It was also available online through Walmart, Candy Funhouse, Ricky Joy and other online retailers.

The affected products were sold from January 2023 through May 2026. Individual bottles cost approximately $3, while multipacks were sold for between $13 and $32.

No incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with the recalled products, according to the recall information.
