Reports Of Flipped 18-Wheeler Near Tuscaloosa Due To High Winds

There has been reports of an overturned 18-wheeler on HWY 13 near the  Tuscaloosa County line as a storm system moves through West Alabama Monday evening.

The National Weather Service has cancelled a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for 3 counties including Lamar county.

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch continues for East Central Tuscaloosa County until 8:15pm.

The National Weather Service says that the impact of these storms include considerable tree damage and likely damage to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Wind gusts are expected up to 70pmh and hail.
