
Small Plane Found On Alabama Train Tracks After Crash Landing
A small plane made a crash landing in the Birmingham area this evening.

The plane was crash landed by a trainer pilot who was training a student in the cockpit, according to a social media post from the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Department.
"There was no fire to the plane during emergency landing," the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service said in a statement posted to social media.
The statement went on to explain the location of the plane's emergency landing.
"Birmingham Fire & Rescue Service responded to a small plane that safely crash landed on train tracks at the in the vicinity of 3300 Block of Vanderbilt Rd at 9:58 pm."
The plane looks like it sustained some damage during the crash landing. There were 2 passengers onboard including the pilot sustained no reported injuries.
