Southview Elementary Celebrates Red Ribbon Week

I've been hearing around T-Town that some really amazing things have been going down at Southview Elementary school for Red Ribbon week, so I decided to go check it out for myself!

I pulled up on the students and staff at Southview Friday morning for their Red Ribbon Week Pep Rally and it was amazing! The kids showed off their "Say No To Drugs" signs they made in school and showed their excitement about staying drug free.

It was great to not only see their excitement for staying drug free, but their pride when they showed off their signs. Almost EVERY student wanted to show off their sign and tell me about why they drew a certain thing on their board! I loved it!

There's some great things happening with the students at Southview Elementary not only for Red Ribbon Week, but all year long! 105.1 The Block plans to be there to capture more of the great things happening at their school! Thanks for having us and we look forward to coming back soon.
