Stillman College Registers Students To Vote
For National Voter Registration Day, Stillman College held a rally to register students on campus. Who says our youth doesn't care about voting?
September 22nd, 2020 is National Voter Registration Day, and Stillman College brought out the big guns to ensure students were getting registered to vote. For the turn-up, they had me out as the DJ and of course, the mission was accomplished. The greater mission was making sure as many students as possible were registered to vote. With kids coming from different cities, and states, making sure they're registered to vote here in Alabama is essential for participation in the upcoming election in November.
The event featured food for the students, free masks and hand sanitizer, and free Stillman gear after registration. They managed to register 58 students at the event!

There are plenty of resources to help you check your registration status and actually register to vote. If you'd like to check your status, Alabama Votes helps you do that. I checked my status to make sure I was registered since moving from Florida and It showed me everything. After I entered my first name, last name, and date of birth, I was able to see my status, polling location, districts, and more.
If you'd like to register to vote here in Alabama, the Alabama Secretary of State's site can help you. Keep in mind that the deadline to register to vote is October 19th, 2020.
