A former pitcher for the Alabama Crimson Tide has sued head coach Brad Bohannon and two others for allegedly ignoring an injury he sustained while training in 2019.
The noise emanating in the Hoover Met was not the sound of thunder from a pending storm but instead the clap of Tennessee bats. Just two days after losing to the Crimson Tide in extra-innings, Tennessee hammered the Crimson Tide 11-0 to eliminate Alabama from the SEC Tournament in just seven innings.
Perhaps the most important thing happening is Alabama baseball making its SEC Tournament run for the first time since 2016 and playing in the winners bracket Thursday taking on 6th seed Florida. Statistically speaking, Bama needs one more conference win to get to that sweet spot of 15 total conference wins to make a run at the NCAA tournament.
