Nick Saban COVID-19 Health Update
Earlier in the week Alabama head coach Nick Saban tested positive for COVID-19. The coach has been in quarantine at his home while handling preparations for the upcoming matchup with Georgia virtually. Saban has been receiving evaluation from team medical staff Dr. Jimmy Robinson and Jeff Allen. Allen provided an update on the coach's condition today.
Alabama Provides Update on Saban’s Health
Alabama head football coach Nick Saban tested positive for COVID-19 putting his status in doubt for Saturday's contest with No. 3 Georgia in Bryant-Denny Stadium. Saban began his quarantine on Wednesday and was evaluated today by team physician Dr. Jimmy Robinson. The Alabama Athletic Department provided an update on the legendary coach.
Sarkisian Selected to Sub for Saban
This weekend when No. 2 Alabama hosts No. 3 Georgia the Crimson Tide will likely have a new head coach. The current head coach, Nick Saban tested positive for COVID-19 earlier in the week so the program is having to make adjustments. Offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian has been tabbed to handle Saban's in office duties and will likely serve as the Alabama head coach this weekend.
Saban Surprised At Positive Results
Today the University of Alabama Athletics Department announced that head coach Nick Saban and athletic director Greg Byrne have both tested positive for COVID-19. Both men have been put into isolation for quarantine and observation, per health and safety protocols.
Alabama’s New 2020 Schedule
The SEC mixed up everyone's schedules this fall once the conference decided to opt for a conference only football schedule. Today the conference announced the new order and dates for the 2020 schedule. Earlier in the day it was announced the Tide would open the season on the road against one of newly added opponent, Missouri. The rest of the schedule is as follows.
