During his time at Alabama, Nick Saban has shown that if an Alabama commit follows the "Process," then they can eventually make it to the NFL. In fact, since he took over in 2007, the Crimson Tide has had 33 players drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft.
In 2008, Nick Saban hauled in his first recruiting class in his Alabama tenure. The class was ranked No. 3 overall by 247Sports, the first top five class for the Tide since the inception of the popular recruiting website. The class was led by five-star prospect, No. 1 recruit in the state in Alabama, No. 1 wide receiver and No. 3 ranked recruit in the nation, Julio Jones.
There are 57 Crimson Tide players in the NFL for the 2020 opening week. With only 53 roster spots for any NFL team, Alabama could fill an entire NFL roster and half a practice squad with just it's alumni.
