A local nonprofit is calling on the women of West Alabama to come volunteer time and sweat equity to build a home in honor of the legendary Miss Terry Saban.

City leaders and Bama football matriarch Terry Saban cut the ribbon at Tuscaloosa's River District Park Thursday, officially opening the area's newest attraction to the public.

Alabama head football coach Nick Saban has won seven national championships during his time as college coach. He has been in charge of college football's most successful dynasty in the history of the sport, winning six national championships in a 14 year span, but he is not the only student of the game in his own household.
