The Alabama Crimson Tide guard suffered a non-contact injury in the first half against the Irish.

The No. 6 Alabama Crimson Tide now knows it will take on the No. 11 Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the NCAA Tournament first round. The Irish defeated No. 11 Rutgers 89-97 in 2OT in their First Four matchup in Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday night.

The Alabama Crimson Tide (19-13, 9-9) draws a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament on Selection Sunday. The Tide will play the the West Region bracket and will take on the winner of No. 11 seeds Rutgers and Notre Dame on Friday.

The Crimson Tide is currently 28-16 and 11-11 in conference while in the midst of a weekend series against No. 2 ranked Vanderbilt. Alabama sits comfortably in the middle of the pack for the SEC tournament, while still playing to prove they belong in the NCAA Tournament.

The Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball team concluded its season with an 88-78 overtime loss to No. 11 UCLA in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament last night. For the Alabama Crimson Tide the Sweet 16 was the furthest the program had been since 2004.

For three Alabama seniors however, this loss signaled something more than an end of a season- it signaled the end of a proud crimson career.
