Every year, the SEC honors legends at the SEC title game, inducting one player from each school into its Legends Class. This year Alabama LB C.J. Mosley will be inducted.
The Alabama Crimson Tide entered the 30th SEC Championship Game as an underdog for the first time in six years. Its safe to say the Tide responded well to the underdog role as Alabama rolled to a 41-24 over the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs.
Alabama junior wide receiver John Metchie III exits the SEC Championship Game after suffering a leg injury in the first half. Metchie was having himself quite a game prior to the injury, he hauled in six receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown on eight targets.
If the Tide wants to ensure its place in the College Football Playoff, both Mechie and Williams will need to find success attacking the Georgia defense down the field in the SEC Championship Game.
Former Alabama Crimson Tide baseball pitcher David Robertson has been selected to represent Team USA for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The Games were pushed back due to last year’s Covid-19 global pandemic.
