Now that Tagovailoa is set to make his first NFL start on November 1st against the Los Angeles Rams, let's catch you up on everything you need to know as a newly dubbed Miami Dolphins fan.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Miami Dolphins are naming Tua Tagovailoa their new starting quarterback. Tagovailoa received his first playing time this past weekend against the New York Jets, he completed both his passes for nine yards in a 24-0 victory. The Dolphins are on a BYE week, therefore he will make his first start against the Los Angeles Rams at home on Nov. 1.
His drive only lasted 5 plays but produced 19-yards and the final first down needed to end the game in the Dolphins favor. Tagovailoa completed both of his passing attempts for a total of nine yards passing while looking comfortable in his limited action.
There are 57 Crimson Tide players in the NFL for the 2020 opening week. With only 53 roster spots for any NFL team, Alabama could fill an entire NFL roster and half a practice squad with just it's alumni.
