Last night, The University of Alabama honored the life of Tuscaloosa Investigator Dornell Cousette. The stadium was illuminated in blue lights for the slain officer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Parked on the walk of fame was Cousette's police vehicle with a message board filled with kind words surrounded by flowers. In the center of the board was scripture Matthew 5:9 KJV  "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God."

 

Investigator Cousette was slain while attempting to serve a felony arrest warrant Monday Sep.16th. Dornell Cousette leaves behind a fiancee' and two daughters. He was 40 years old.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at noon at the Gymnasium of the Martin Campus of Shelton State Community College and will be officiated by Pastor Dr. Herman Peters. The Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery in Aliceville, Ala. with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations.
