It's my first Christmas here in Alabama and this is probably the first year I've ever said "It feels like Christmas!" That's because of the high temperatures back home in Florida and all the fun holiday activities around Alabama!

Here's short list of family friendly events you can attend this holiday season in Alabama:

Christmas In The Park

Only a short drive from Tuscaloosa, Christmas In The Park in Fayette, AL is sure to make your kids smile! They even have $1.00 hot chocolate and $1.00 train rides for the kids! It's completely free to enjoy all of the beautiful lights!

You can find more information HERE.

The Tinsel Trail

Tinsel Trail is located here in Tuscaloosa along the Riverwalk from the Tuscaloosa River Market to the Amphitheater.  The Trail is lit from dusk to dawn but can still be enjoyed during the day and It lasts until January 6th. I've been to the grand opening myself and I can tell you this is one great display of Christmas trees. From UA students to the nearest KFC, the trees were decorated by members of the community and look absolutely great! The best part, it's completely free!
