This Unique Sports League Is Making Noise In Tuscaloosa
Have you ever thought about the games you play at tailgates as sports?
There are certain games that have just become a standard at most tailgates.
Beer Pong
Flip Cup
Horseshoes
One of my favorite tailgate games seems to be getting more popular by the day. There are even professional players who aren't even adults yet making a name for themselves within this sport.
According to ESPN, the youngest professional in this sport is 11-year-old Eian Cripps.
The sport is Corn Hole and they have a whole nationwide league.
Here in Tuscaloosa, cornhole is growing in popularity and there is even a local league that meets weekly for games.
T-Town Corn Hole is described on its Facebook page:
A group of cornhole enthusiasts in the Tuscaloosa, AL area. We will have 2 Blind Draw tournaments each Wednesday starting at 7:00 with an Air Mail Raffle between tournaments. We welcome anyone who wants to come and enjoy the fellowship and fun of playing cornhole. The address is 7105 Rainey Lane Cottondale Alabama 35453
The league is open to anyone willing to come and play and even gives out cash prizes during their tournaments.
Feel free to visit T-Town Cornhole on Facebook to get information on their weekly meetups and their other events.
They sometimes hold special events to raise money for a worthy cause.
T-Town Cornhole recently held a tournament in the name of Christian Hart.
I may have to take a day out of the week and pay the T-Town cornhole league a visit. Get more info on the league by clicking here.
