Superheroes, Doctors, Firefighters, Lions, Wizards, Princesses, Witches, Police Officers, Unicorns, and more all invaded the City of Tuscaloosa’s free ‘Tech-or-Treat’ event. It took place on Tuesday evening on October 26, 2021.  The free event was held at the Gateway located at 2614 University Blvd East from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The ‘Tech-or-Treat’ festivity was well attended with tons of children and parents who enjoyed interacting with city departments and community organizations. The families were treated to free candy and Buffalo Rock Pepsi products while they enjoyed games and activities that pertained to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) opportunities. Of course, there was plenty of candy to be had for everyone.

Charlene from Moundville said that her “family really enjoyed the evening.” She added that it was “such a positive event, that everyone was smiling and enjoying all the activities.”
