UA Sorority Hosts Homecoming Fashion Show and Shoe Drive

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Theta Sigma Chapter is getting ready for Homecoming at the University of Alabama. The ladies will host a “Let Me See You Walk” Homecoming fashion show and a shoe drive collection. The fashion show will feature featuring young models, designers, and special guests.

“Let Me See You Walk” Homecoming Fashion Show and Shoe Drive will take place on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at the University of Alabama’s Ferguson Student Center Ballroom. Admission is a pair of clean, gently worn, or new shoes. The Theta Sigma Chapter noted that all proceeds would go to the Soles4Souls charity.

The nonprofit Soles4Souls is where they “turn unwanted shoes and clothing into opportunity, by keeping them from going to waste and putting them to good use – providing relief, creating jobs and empowering people to break the cycle of poverty.”
