Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox Gives Update on “Arrested” Pony
Recently, the Tuscaloosa Police Department shared news of a recent hilarious situation that led to an "arrest" in Alberta.
TPD shared that a runaway pony, given the temporary name of "Ginuwine," forced three officers to engage in a low-speed pursuit where they followed the pony up and down driveways, and through backyards for close to two hours.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department said that the pony's owner had not been found but they've arranged for a permanent home just in case.
Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox gave an update on Ginuwine and his new home via Facebook.
"He's still refusing to tell us how he ended up loose in Alberta," said Mayor Walt Maddox as he informed the public of the pony's new temporary home.
"He's healthy and happy in his new temporary home at Therapeutic Riding of Tuscaloosa."
