With the Christmas holiday behind us, the City of Tuscaloosa is announcing closures for the upcoming New Year holiday.

Essential offices in Tuscaloosa will closed in the coming days and city services like recycling and trash services are set to be delayed due to the holiday in January according to the City of Tuscaloosa.

Monday, the City announced the upcoming closures for city hall, the water bussiness office and more. On Wednesday, December 31 City Hall will close at 4:00 p.m. along with the Water Business Office Drive-through closing at 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday December 31 the Water Business Office Lobby will close at 3:30 p.m. and 311 will close at 5:00 p.m.

New Years Day Thursday, January 1 City Hall, the Water Business Office and 311 will remain closed. All offices mentioned will reopen and resume normal hours on Friday January 2nd.

The collection schedule for trash and recycling for Thursday January 1 will instead run on Friday January 2.
