Tuscaloosa Police Seek Suspect in Armed Robbery of 3 Area Motels
The Tuscaloosa Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a man believed to have robbed three area motels in recent months.
Lt. Teena Richardson, a spokeswoman for the department, said the man is suspected of the August 24th robbery of a motel on McFarland Boulevard, the December 8th Robbery of another on Skyland Boulevard and the December 15th robbery of a third motel in Northport.
Richardson said in each robbery, the suspect brandished a handgun, stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the motel and fled the scene.
Surveillance cameras have captured several shots of the suspect's face and vehicle, and Richardson is asking anyone who knows the man's identity or location to immediately contact the Tuscaloosa Police Department Tuscaloosa Crime Stoppers at 205-752-7867.
