The Tuscaloosa River Market announced Thursday evening they will no longer offer the mobile market that has been in place for the last few years.

According to a Facebook post by the Tuscaloosa River Market, due to a lack of participation from vendors and low shopper turnout, the pop-up markets have been discontinued.

The post also states that the Saturday Farmers Market will still be held each week from 7am-Noon

The pop-up farmers markets begin in 2020 after the city received a grant from the US Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service.
