Feeling spooky? Half Shell Oyster House is once again opening its doors to the Southern Ghost Girls Tours this Saturday for an interactive paranormal jaunt around the old property.

The building that houses Half Shell Oyster House was once known as Historic Brown's Corner. Employees and patrons of the establishment have cried "ghost" several times over the years, and after a wildly successful tour last month, the Southern Ghost Girls want to return this weekend for round two.

The event starts at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 10 and goes on to 10 p.m. Tickets are required for participation.

Participants will use all the same ghost-hunting equipment that appears on TV. The experience is led by Lesley Ann Hyde, who is most known for her work on A&E's "Truth or Legends." Hyde is also a psychic medium who works with a team of paranormal investigators to put on these events.

"Look for the truth as to what haunts this building as you actively participate in the investigation," read the upcoming event's listing. "Apparitions, footprints, handprints, disembodied voices, poltergeist activity and more [have] been observed throughout the last 120 years that the building has stood in it’s location. Many employees have reported these encounters and phenomena."

Rain or shine, the tour starts on the second floor of the Half Shell building and works its way down. Under Gov. Kay Ivey's "Safer Apart" order, masks are not required but recommended.

The $40 admission fee covers participation in the investigation and light appetizers. A cash bar will also be available.

Half Shell Oyster House is located in downtown Tuscaloosa at the corner of University Boulevard and Greensboro Avenue. To purchase tickets, click here.
