Tyreek Hill Praises Tua Tagovailoa, “I’m Very Confident in My Quarterback”
Tua Tagovailoa enters his third season in the NFL this year, and with it, comes extremely lofty expectations. The Dolphins spent most of this offseason revamping their offense, bringing in not only a top-tier wide receiving target, but some excellent linemen and another running back as well.
New addition to the Miami receiving core, Tyreek Hill, spoke with reporters on Tuesday to talk about the upcoming season and the fit with his new quarterback.
Hill was very complementary of Tagovailoa, even going so far as to say, "Tua actually has one of the prettiest balls I’ve ever caught in my life."
As someone who most recently was hauling in howitzer missiles from Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City, Hill's comments about the deep ball from his new signal caller are very high praise.
Hill also said, "I feel like football is all about confidence and I'm very confident in my quarterback." Continuing, Hill again praised Tagovailoa's skillset, "He has crazy arm strength and arm talent."
Speaking on another former Tide star turned Dolphin, Hill opened up on his chemistry with Jaylen Waddle, saying, "I think we complement each other very well. Just having another speed guy on the other side of you, that definitely puts a lot of fear in a defensive coordinator's mind."
The new look Dolphins will take the field on August 13, 2022 for their first preseason matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and officially kick off their season almost a month later on September 11 against the Mac Jones led New England Patriots.
