Upcoming Job Fairs and Services at Tuscaloosa Area Career Center

The Tuscaloosa Area Career Center is excited to announce two job fairs happening on Thursday, July 18th, providing fantastic opportunities for job seekers to connect with potential employers and explore various career options.

On July 18th, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, the Career Center will host a Job Fair for Shoal Creek Mine. This event is a great chance for individuals, whether experienced or new to mining, to meet employers and learn about available positions.

Also on July 18th, from 10 AM to 2 PM, Tuscaloosa City Schools will be hosting a Job Fair aimed at filling several important roles. They are looking to hire teachers, instructional aides, custodians, bus drivers, and child nutrition assistants. This event will be located at Central High School.

The Tuscaloosa Area Career Center is a comprehensive resource for all your career needs. From resume building to on-the-job training with compensation, they are here to support residents in Tuscaloosa.

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, anyone interested in training programs for nursing, HVAC, clinical medical assistance, welding, or CDL (among others) are encouraged to visit their office. You may be eligible for grant assistance to help you achieve your career goals.

Each client is paired with an employment service representative who will create a personalized employment plan tailored to their workforce goals.

Located at 202 Skyland Dr, Tuscaloosa, 35405, the Career Center operates from 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM, ready to serve our community.
