Use This Air Fryer Recipe And Never Fry Bacon In A Skillet Again

I am not a bacon connoisseur.  I am the; I like two to three strips of bacon or turkey bacon with my breakfast type of gal.  Recently, for some reason, I can’t get my favorite pre-cooked, microwave-ready bacon.  So, I was forced to cook it up.  The thought of frying up bacon was not ideal for me: the mess, grease splatters, and more left me not wanting even to have bacon.  I called my cousin, and he explained the ways to cook bacon.  The obvious was the frying pan (skillet) method, oven method (baking on tin foil), and [insert excited scream] the air fryer method.  I adore my air fryer, wishing every time I use it that I got a bigger one.  This air fryer method for bacon that I created is SIMPLE!!!!!!!!!

Inside your air fryer basket, have one single layer of bacon.

Set air fryer at 400 degrees for 4 minutes

When 4 minutes are up with tongs, flip the bacon.

Set air fryer at 400 degrees for 4 minutes

When done, let it cool down for a few minutes with the basket inside the air fryer.

If you don’t want your bacon crispy, then take the time down by a minute on each cycle.

The most important part is to let is sit in the air fryer for a minute or two when done!

BONUS:  After you are done with the bacon, don’t clean the basket.  Cut up one to two apples, sprinkle one packet of Splenda, and some cinnamon on top, then toss in the air fryer basket with the bacon drippings for 10 minutes on 400 degrees.  It’s such a delicious snack.

Enjoy!
