Today you can expect late afternoon scattered showers and thunderstorms.  There will be mostly sunny skies with a high near 95.  Tonight, there is still a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms with partly cloudy skies and low near 74.

The U.S. Drought Monitor has indicted that there moderate drought for extreme eastern Tuscaloosa and northern Bibb counties.
