Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Offering Food, Prayer, and Hope to Tuscaloosa Residents
So many residents in West Alabama are in need with food insecurity and SNAP benefits being on hold. Many organizations are stepping up to assist residents in their time of need.
A local church in Tuscaloosa will host a food give away this upcoming weekend. The "Strength in Unity" Community Food Give-A-Way will take place Sunday, November 16th, 2:00-3:30 p.m. The event is hosted by Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Residents are invited to drive-up or walk-up for food.
"If you or someone you know is in need, please come and be blessed - all are welcome! Together, we can share hope, lend a helping hand, and strengthen the bonds that unite our community," Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Pastor Rev. Dennis L. Moore said in a press release sent to Townsquare Media.
In addition to free food (while supplies last), there will be a prayer tent for anyone seeking encouragement or spiritual support, a job resource tent offering employment information and opportunities, and several other community partners providing valuable local resources to help meet a variety of needs.

Residents are invited to come as you are. The goal is for people to leave uplifted, connected, and cared for.
Bethel Missionary Baptist Church is located at 3003 25th St, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
