The regular season is winding down and playoff seeding’s are taking shape in West Alabama high school football. Here’s a look at this week’s scores:
Hillcrest’s offense exploded in a 56=13 win over Bryant.
Holy Spirit’s Saints marched out of Brilliant with a 56-0 win, their first of the season.
Holt wasn’t as lucky, as the Ironmen fell 42-0 to Montevallo.
McAdory cruised over Brookwood 56-0.
Thompson won big at Tuscaloosa County 49-7.
Aliceville hung on for a 34-31 win over Winston County.
Pickens County did the same as the Tornadoes edged Hubbertville 34-28.
Central got its second win by holding off Bessemer City at Falcon Field 27-20.
Hueytown left Tuscaloosa with a 41-23 win over Northridge.
West Blocton clinched a playoff berth by winning at Hale County 26-7.
Bibb County cruised by Dallas County 56-0.
ACA clinched an area title with a 28-3 home win over Sipsey Valley.
Demopolis stayed hot as the Tigers destroyed Holtville 60-14.
Gordo won handily at Oakman 56-12. The Green Wave is rolling.
Dora went to Samantha, AL and left with a 33-13 win at Northside.
Tuscaloosa Academy continued its first-year AHSAA success by beating Sulligent 23-28.
Winfield topped rival Fayette County 25-13.
In eight-man football on Senior Night in Northport, North River Christian’s Chargers lost to visiting Ezekiel Academy of Montgomery 38-23.
And statewide, there are no more unbeaten teams in 7A as Central of Phenix City downed Auburn High School 38-17.
