Despite a recent scare when it came to funding in Alabama, children will in fact be able to grab a free meal in West Alabama this summer.

Many schools in the region will serve as sites where the youth can stop by and grab a free meal for breakfast and lunch.

According to a recent post by the Tuscaloosa City School System, students 18 and under can go to any designated school site for breakfast from 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. to grab a meal.

The school locations for TCS are:

Arcadia Elementary

Oakdale Elementary

TASPA

Central Elementary

Skyland Elementary

Southview Elementary

University Place Elementary

MLK Jr. Elementary

Magnet School

Eastwood Middle

Paul W. Bryant High

Central High

Northridge High

Westlawn Middle

Northridge Middle

Woodland Forrest Elementary

 

There was a post in the What's Happening In The City of Vance, Alabama? Facebook group that listed schools like Taylorville Elementary, Brookwood elementary,Holt Elementary, Hillcrest High and others as summer feeding locations for students as well.
