Wind Advisory Today for Portions of Central Alabama
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Wind Advisory for a “large portion of Central AL from 11 AM thru 10 PM today. Strong low-level winds could occasionally mix to the surface during peak heating resulting in gusts up to 40 mph, especially in higher terrain areas.”
